Inspired by Berndt, Hilda Becker and Edward Rusha‘s work, this photographic collection of nine deserted gas-stations documents the depletion of oil and of the work resources associated.

Formal work on black and white photography, confronted to reinterpretations in digital water-color. The colors contaminate the blacks and the whites and offer a poetic alternative to the chilling question of emptiness and finiteness.

The ambivalent and plural character of this series, between disillusion and belief in a form of progress, conveys the plastic ambition of opening possibilities.
